Many Skylines were used for the film, but only six actual Skylines were real – the others, we’re reliably informed, were all stunt cars fitted on VW Beetle chassis’ with plastic bodies. Of the six genuine Skylines used, three of them were sold as parts cars, two were destroyed and one was saved for potential sequels.

Minimum ageThe minimum age to participate in a driving experience is 17 years old (individuals under the age of 18 need parental/guardian consent)
Minimum heightThe minimum height to participate in a driving experience is 4ft 10in.
Maximum heightThe maximum height to participate in a driving experience is 6ft 4in. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Maximum weightThe maximum weight to participate in a driving experience is 20 stone. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Driving licenceAll participants must hold a full valid driving licence and must have this present with them on the day the event is taking place. (International licences are accepted)
CommunicationAll participants must have a good basic understanding of the English language and must be able to understand basic hand manoeuvres.
ClothingAppropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times during the event.
HealthParticipants must be in good health and must wear glasses if required.
DrinkingIndividuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate. The Event Managers decision is final.
VouchersVouchers hold a 12-month validity period unless otherwise stated.
Expiration dateExperiences must be booked and taken before the expiry date of the voucher.
Book aheadWe ask that you book a minimum of 8 weeks in advance so we can give the best availability of venues and vehicles.
CancellationCancellation cover can be purchased separately, this covers you in the instance of death in the immediate family, breakdown on the way to an event or illness on the day.
AvailabilityAll experiences are subject to availability with regards to vehicles, dates and venues.
WeatherWe still operate during adverse weather; however we hold the right to cancel an experience if the weather is too severe.
SpectatorsSpectators are welcome at all our venues.
Under 16sIndividuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Our datesMost experiences are available February to November.
Indemnity waiverWhen attending an experience with ourselves you are fully insured to drive our cars, however you may be liable for the excess payment if any claim needs to be made due to damage to the vehicles. It is advised that participants purchase an indemnity waiver that is offered to them at the time of booking and on the day.

Located around the site are various business working on classic cars, so you never what you might see on your visit. However, it promises the same once-in-a-lifetime driving experience. Do you think you can handle the intense G-forces? The corners of the circuit are all named after military vehicles such as Saracen, Chieftan, Challenger and so on.

          For your convenience, there is no exact postcode for the entrance. We've provided the nearest postcode for the above address, and you can find the entrance on Tout Hill/Rye Hill Road.           Kendrew Barracks, formerly known as RAF Cottesmore, has a rich history dating back to 1938 when it first became an operational Royal Air Force base. Its expansive runway played a significant role in aviation history, hosting the final flight of the iconic Harrier Jump Jet. Between 1943 and 1945, it also served as a base for the United States Air Force.

          The was named in honour of Major General Sir Douglas Kendrew, a former pupil at Uppingham School who served in the Royal Leicestershire Regiment. Major General Kendrew was one of only 11 officers in the Army to be awarded the Distinguished Service Order, known as the DSO, four times. The order is awarded for highly successful command and leadership during active operations.

          Following its formal closing ceremony in 2012, Kendrew Barracks transitioned to its current role as a satellite facility for RAF Wittering, located in Peterborough. Today, it is home to the British Army’s East of England Multi-Role Brigade.

          With it’s very long runway Kendrew Barracks is one of our most coveted venues to drive in the UK.

          Driving a supercar at high speeds in track conditions is a phenomenal experience and one where every moment should be savoured – don’t waste it by learning the track whilst out on your drive!

          These demonstration laps are done before you get to go out in your chosen supercar – one of our professional race instructors will take you round the circuit and show you the driving line so that you can get the most out of your own drive. They will show you the chicanes, the acceleration zones, the braking points, where and how to take the corners and everything else you will need to be familiar with on the circuit..
