Rally driving is widely renowned as one of the most gruelling motorsports. Pitting driver and car against the elements on closed public roads across the globe. For all those budding Rally Drivers out there, get out of the armchair, drop the PlayStation and come and try the real thing! Grab the chance to get behind THREE of our specially built full rally spec cars on one of our purpose-built rally stages. So slide, turn and put your foot down; you don’t have to pick up the cleaning bill!
This experience is only available at Elvington, York and Kendrew Barracks, Leicestershire
Here’s what to expect:
✔️ Welcome introduction and sign in with our team to collect your itinerary!
✔️ In-car driver’s briefing with an experienced and qualified instructor
✔️ 3x sessions of 3 miles/6 laps around our purpose-built rally course for each driver
✔️ The opportunity to view and purchase professional photographs that have been taken of your drive, and collect your certificate to commemorate your driving experience from our media desk
*Please note: photos and in-car filming are not available at Elvington, York. Cars will be allocated on the day of the event.
Min Age
The minimum age to participate in a driving experience is 10 years old. (Individuals under the age of 18 need parental/guardian consent to participate)
Min Height
The minimum height to participate in a driving experience is 4ft 10in.
Max Height
The maximum height to participate in a driving experience is 6ft 4in. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Max Weight
The maximum weight to participate in a driving experience is 20 stone. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Driving Licence
All participants over 17 years must hold a full valid driving licence and must have this present with them on the day the event is taking place. (International licences accepted)
Communication
All participants must have a good basic understanding of the English language and must be able to understand basic hand manoeuvres.
Clothing
Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times during the event.
Health
Participants must be in good health and must wear glasses if required.
Drinking
Individuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
Vouchers
Vouchers hold a 12-month validity period, unless otherwise stated.
Expiration Date
Experiences must be booked and taken before the expiry date of the voucher.
Book Ahead
We do ask that you book a minimum of 8 weeks in advance.
Cancellation Cover
Cancellation cover can be purchased separately, this covers you in the instance of death in the immediate family, breakdown on the way to an event or illness on the day.
Availability
All experiences are subject to availability with regards to cars, date and venue.
Weather
We still operate during adverse weather; however we hold the right to cancel an experience if the weather is too severe.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome at all our venues.
Under Sixteens
Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Our Dates
Most experiences are available February to November.
Indemnity Waiver
When attending an experience with ourselves you are fully insured to drive our cars however you may be liable for the excess payment if any claim needs to be made due to damage on the vehicles. It is advised that participants purchase a waiver indemnity that is offered to them at the time of booking and on the day.

Kendrew Barracks, formerly known as RAF Cottesmore, has a rich history dating back to 1938 when it first became an operational Royal Air Force base. Its expansive runway played a significant role in aviation history, hosting the final flight of the iconic Harrier Jump Jet. Between 1943 and 1945, it also served as a base for the United States Air Force.
The was named in honour of Major General Sir Douglas Kendrew, a former pupil at Uppingham School who served in the Royal Leicestershire Regiment. Major General Kendrew was one of only 11 officers in the Army to be awarded the Distinguished Service Order, known as the DSO, four times. The order is awarded for highly successful command and leadership during active operations.
Following its formal closing ceremony in 2012, Kendrew Barracks transitioned to its current role as a satellite facility for RAF Wittering, located in Peterborough. Today, it is home to the British Army’s East of England Multi-Role Brigade.
With it’s very long runway Kendrew Barracks is one of our most coveted venues to drive in the UK.
