Our Junior F1 Safety Car Experience has been exclusively created by our team in response to the demand by customers to do something more Formula 1 orientated. What better than use the cars that over the years have led more F1 races than any other… 

This is your chance to take to the track in both the the Mercedes AMG GTR & Aston Martin Vantage Gen 2, both with an impressive 500+ brake horsepower.

An absolute dream of an experience and the perfect gift for anyone wanting to feel some serious power out on the track! What’s more, you will be able to enjoy an adrenaline filled Ariel Atom high speed passenger ride with one of our qualified and experienced race instructors.

 

Here’s what to expect:

✔️ Welcome introduction and sign in with our team to collect your itinerary!

✔️ Driver’s briefing with an experienced and qualified instructor (selected venues)

✔️ 3 miles driving the AMG GTR or GTS around the track of your choice

✔️ 3 miles driving the Aston Martin Vantage Generation 2 around the track of your choice

✔️ A thrilling Ariel Atom high speed passenger ride

✔️ The opportunity to view and purchase professional photographs that have been taken of your drive, and collect your certificate to commemorate your driving experience from our media desk

*Please note some venues require a surcharge. Drivers must be 12+ to drive at The Heritage Loop. Drivers must be at least 4ft 10. All vehicles are subject to availability and may not all be available at all locations, additional information available during the booking process.

Minimum ageThe minimum age to participate in a Junior driving experience is 10 years old, with the exception of The Heritage Loop @ Donington Park, where drivers MUST be aged 12+ (All juniors require parental/guardian consent to participate)
Min HeightThe minimum height to participate in a driving experience is 4ft 10in.
Max HeightThe maximum height to participate in a driving experience is 6ft 4in. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Max WeightThe maximum weight to participate in a driving experience is 20 stone. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
CommunicationAll participants must have a good basic understanding of the English language and must be able to understand basic hand manoeuvres.
ClothingAppropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times during the event.
HealthParticipants must be in good health and must wear glasses if required.
DrinkingIndividuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
VouchersVouchers hold a 12-month validity period, unless otherwise stated.
Expiration DateExperiences must be booked and taken before the expiry date of the voucher.
Book AheadWe do ask that you book a minimum of 8 weeks in advance.
Cancellation CoverCancellation cover can be purchased separately, this covers you in the instance of death in the immediate family, breakdown on the way to an event or illness on the day.
AvailabilityAll experiences are subject to availability with regards to cars, date and venue.
WeatherWe still operate during adverse weather; however we hold the right to cancel an experience if the weather is too severe.
SpectatorsSpectators are welcome at all our venues.
Under SixteensIndividuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Our DatesMost experiences are available February to November.
Indemnity WaiverWhen attending an experience with ourselves you are fully insured to drive our cars however you may be liable for the excess payment if any claim needs to be made due to damage on the vehicles. It is advised that participants purchase a waiver indemnity that is offered to them at the time of booking and on the day.

      The safety car with the three-pointed star has been a constant feature for 26 years now, and during that time, high-performance models, including the Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG, the Mercedes-Benz C 36 AMG and the spectacular SLS AMG gullwing specially developed by Mercedes-AMG, have all been utilised.

      2022 F1 season is now set to mark a premiere when the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series (fuel consumption combined: 12.8 l/100 km, CO2 emissions combined: 292 g/km)¹  leads the field as the safety car. 

      At the same time, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+ (fuel consumption combined: 13.5-13.0 l/100 km, CO2 emissions combined: 308-295 g/km)¹  will make its debut as the medical car.       Aston Martin’s Vantage safety car is technically upgraded from the original road-going version of the sportscar - but has now been released as a bespoke F1 model.

      The 4-litre turbo V8 pumps out 535PS (528hp) – which is 25PS more than the basic road going car. This gives it an acceleration figure of 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds

      With an added front splitter and vaned grille, the Vantage creates 155.6kg of downforce at 200km/h, which is 60kg more than the production car creates at the same speed.

      The safety car also features upgraded suspension, steering and dampers, as well as bracing modifications to help with front structural stiffness.

      It features its flashing light panel in the more traditional position on top of the roof.
