The DB11 succeeds the DB9 as Aston Martin’s flagship V12 GT, taking on cars like the Mercedes-AMG S65 Coupe, Bentley GTC and Ferrari F12. Aston’s DB lineage, named after one-time owner David Brown, stretches right back to 1950 and includes the iconic DB5 of Goldfinger fame. But the DB11 is the first all-new one since 2003. And if you’re wondering what happened to DB10, that was reserved for a special re-bodied V8 Vantage used in 2015’s Bond film, Spectre.  Select your experience here

If it's the absolute class you want from a supercar, then the Aston Martin DB9 takes some beating. The British-built V12 engined car can be considered more of a quick GT car than a pin-sharp racer, but there's no doubt its relaxed approach hold plenty of appeal. It continues to be a fast, luxurious, front-engined, rear-wheel-drive coupe that will carry two people and their luggage on long journeys at high speed in absolute comfort. Select your experience here

Aston Martin’s Vantage safety car is technically upgraded from the original road-going version of the sportscar - but has now been released as a bespoke F1 model.

The 4-litre turbo V8 pumps out 535PS (528hp) – which is 25PS more than the basic road going car. This gives it an acceleration figure of 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds

With an added front splitter and vaned grille, the Vantage creates 155.6kg of downforce at 200km/h, which is 60kg more than the production car creates at the same speed.

The safety car also features upgraded suspension, steering and dampers, as well as bracing modifications to help with front structural stiffness.

It features its flashing light panel in the more traditional position on top of the roof.

But what the R8 yields in flash, it makes up for in the cohesive design. The angular body is one of the most futuristic shapes ever to roll off a production line. That’s because Audi’s latest models are all characterized by piercing LED headlights and taillights, ornate wheel designs, and angular bodies. Select your experience here

Eleanor, the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 from the film Gone in Sixty Seconds starring Nicolas Cage - widely recognised as one of Hollywood's most iconic film cars of the 21st century. With all the cars in the film referred to as female names to hide their identities from the police, Eleanor was described as the main character's 'unicorn' — the one he failed to steal on a number of occasions. A rarity in its own right, just 300 GT500 Shelby Mustangs were ever built. Select your experience here

The 360 is easier and cheaper to service than the previous mid-engined Ferraris, and it brought new levels of build quality and the widespread use of aluminium in the construction of the body and chassis. Ferrari may have been founded on a series of V12-powered cars, but some of its most successful models were those fitted with a mid-rear-mounted V8. And so it is with the Ferrari 458 Italia – the name meaning 4.5-litres and eight cylinders, with Italia thrown it at the end in homage to its home country. It was hailed by none other than Jeremy Clarkson as one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever made. Select your experience here

      Ferrari F488 GTB

The Ferrari 488's bodywork has been meticulously crafted to achieve a 50% surge in downforce compared to the 458, all the while diminishing aerodynamic drag at the front, a novel dual splitter serves a dual purpose: not only does it enhance radiator cooling by forcibly directing air into them, but it also expertly guides the airflow over the underbody vortex generators, generating ground effects without tacking on undesirable drag. Moving to the rear, a fresh rear spoiler (which can be described as a slotted flap) has been seamlessly integrated into the rear decklid and bumper. This innovative design elevates downforce performance without necessitating the use of a raised wing situated centrally, the "Aero Pillar" masterfully redirects air beneath the car's flat body, and two vents positioned in the bonnet serve as outlets for air from the front bumper's dual intakes. This ingenious arrangement further mitigates air pressure over the car's frontal area. Select your experience here

Jackson Racing, a renowned Honda tuning company based in California, has been perfecting its craft for over two decades. Their expertise in the American import drag-racing scene primarily revolves around their highly acclaimed and extensively tested superchargers. Therefore, when Simon Saunders, the head of Ariel, sought to enhance the speed of his Honda Type-R-engined Atom track car, he naturally turned to Jackson Racing. The outcome of their collaboration is the all-new supercharged Atom, boasting an impressive power output of 300bhp at 8200rpm, a substantial increase from its original 220bhp. Additionally, the torque has been boosted from 144lb ft at 6100rpm to 191lb ft at 7150rpm. Weighing in at a mere 460kg without fuel, this latest iteration of the Atom is bound to deliver an exhilarating performance on the track. The hairs on the back of your neck will stand up as the noise of the supercharger kicks in. This Supercharged Atom is one of the Instructors favourite cars we own.  View experiences here

But what the R8 yields in flash, it makes up for in the cohesive design. The angular body is one of the most futuristic shapes ever to roll off a production line. While some supercars can be confused as “some new Ferrari or Lamborghini,” the R8 is almost immediately recognized as an Audi. That’s because Audi’s latest models are all characterized by piercing LED headlights and taillights, ornate wheel designs, and angular bodies. Select your experience here

At 610 horsepower, this naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V-10 is the most powerful engine ever put into production by Audi. It revs 20 percent quicker than its predecessor, spinning from idle to its 8500-rpm redline in 0.66 seconds. Despite the eco-conscious demeanour, the i8 develops 357bhp and 570Nm of torque and can sprint from 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds thanks to its sophisticated four-wheel-drive chassis and lightweight carbon-fibre construction.
