Little Learners Toylander Driving Experience Details

Imagine hopping into a mini Land Rover, designed just for kids, and setting off on an adventure around our purpose-built course. That’s the thrill of driving a Toylander, a hand-built electric car modelled after classic Land Rovers, scaled down for juniors aged 4 to 10. With its rugged look, chunky wheels, and fully operational steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedal this isn’t just a toy—it’s an exciting experience that brings a taste of off-roading fun to little adventurers.

The experience begins with a briefing session where kids get to familiarise themselves with their Toylander vehicle. Excitement builds as they learn how to steer, accelerate, and safely stop. The Toylander is battery-powered, easy to control, and slow enough to be safe for young drivers, but fast enough to feel like a real car.

Parents and friends cheer from the side-lines as these mini Land Rovers roll through a carefully set-up obstacle course. Space permitting you may be able to ride along too.

Learning Through Play

Driving a Toylander isn’t just fun—it’s also a great way for kids to develop motor skills. They learn about coordination, how to navigate obstacles, and the importance of safety. There’s a sense of independence as they take the wheel, but also teamwork when they follow directions or work with friends to complete challenges.

Min Age	The minimum age to participate in a Little Learners driving experience is 4 years old. An adult may accompany you on your drive. (Juniors require parental/guardian consent to participate)
Max Age	The maximum age to participate is 9 years old
Max Weight	The maximum weight to participate in a driving experience is 20 stone. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Communication	All participants must have a good basic understanding of the English language and must be able to understand basic hand manoeuvres.
Clothing	Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times during the event.
Health	Participants must be in good health and must wear glasses if required.
Drinking	Individuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
Vouchers	Vouchers hold a 12-month validity period, unless otherwise stated.
Expiration Date	Experiences must be booked and taken before the expiry date of the voucher.
Book Ahead	We do ask that you book a minimum of 8 weeks in advance.
Cancellation Cover	Cancellation cover can be purchased separately, this covers you in the instance of death in the immediate family, breakdown on the way to an event or illness on the day.
Availability	All experiences are subject to availability with regards to cars, date and venue.
Weather	We still operate during adverse weather; however we hold the right to cancel an experience if the weather is too severe.
Spectators	Spectators are welcome at all our venues.
Under Sixteens	Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Our Dates	Most experiences are available February to November.
Indemnity Waiver	When attending an experience with ourselves you are fully insured to drive our cars however you may be liable for the excess payment if any claim needs to be made due to damage on the vehicles. It is advised that participants purchase a waiver indemnity that is offered to them at the time of booking and on the day.

Toy Lander Landy

A pocket-size powerhouse, this kids’ Land Rover® salutes the classic styling of the 1958 model.

Originally manufactured between 1958 and 1961, the Series 2 Land Rover® is recreated by Toylander for today’s adventurers. Our replica children’s Land Rover® gives first-time drivers a taste of real-world motoring, with an authentic spec that includes forward/reverse modes, speed control, footbrake, handbrake, lights, folding windscreen, opening tailgate, pneumatic tyres and horn.
