A Message from Our MD

Dear Friends and Family of Everyman Racing,

Supercars are our passion but keeping our customers and our staff members safe is our top priority and I am truly delighted to announce that at last the day has come when, in line with Government guidance & as of 4th July 2020, we are ready to safely resume our running our driving experience events across the UK.

Our doors may have been closed temporarily but we have not left our engines idling.. Far from it! We have used this time to plan and execute the implementation of numerous safety measures to make our events Covid Secure and we’ve been getting creative ! There will be some fabulous new products coming out soon which are sure to tempt even the most seasoned customers so keep an eye out on our social media and our website for the new launches !

Finally, we’d like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful team and loyal customers – I have been amazed at the level of support received as we’ve navigated these unprecedented and troubled waters – and as we all ease ourselves back into a new chapter post lockdown – things may still feel a little different, but I have no doubt that we are all significantly closer to leaving Covid-19 firmly in our rearview mirrors!

Looking forward to seeing you all out on the track and having a blast !

Yours sincerely,

Darren Edmonds

Covid-19 & Everyman FAQs

Our first event is scheduled for Monday 6th July in Prestwold & our full events calendar is available here; www.everymanracing.co.uk/dates We still have a skeleton staff working from home to help with enquiries and handle calls at present but are working on gradually reopening our head office throughout the month of July.

The easiest & quickest way is to check the events calendar on our website, available here; www.everymanracing.co.uk/dates In the event of it becoming necessary to cancel an event for Covid-19 reasons, or local lockdown, or any other reason, we will reach out to all affected customers and discuss their options. We will also email you a few days before your event to remind you its coming up & provide full details of what to expect when you arrive.

Simply put, no. We operate at circuits and venues across the UK, none of whom are based within the parameters of the local lockdown which is predominantly Leicester City. We do have one which is technically considered to be in Leicestershire but it is situated a significant distance away from the outer boundaries of the Leicester City local lockdown. We will continue to monitor the situation & will not operate at any site which becomes affected by the implementation of any local lockdowns. In the event of it becoming necessary to cancel an event due to a local lockdown, we will reach out to all affected customers and discuss their options.

We have been diligent in following Government advice and have introduced numerous new measures to help keep everyone safe when visiting or driving at one of our events.

Key measures include A senior member of staff solely dedicated to all matters Covid-19, Covid-19 specific training for all staff, issuing PPE masks & visors to all staff, screening of staff prior to starting work, screening of customers upon arrival, social distancing throughout the venue from arriving & parking through to leaving to go home, a one way system, multiple free to use hygiene stations, cashless payments, sanitation of all touch points in the vehicles before & after every customer. We also issue full details and guidance to each & every customer before they come on an event so everyone knows what to expect and the access to a virtual Driver’s briefing.

There will be no handshakes or physical contact with any Everyman Team members at any point. The instructors will always remain 2 metres from you until you are seated in the supercar. Within the vehicle itself, Everyman Team members will then be adhering to the 1 metre + rules – meaning 1 metre space + other additional measures – these include wearing a face mask and a protective visor at all times, and only instructing facing forwards – without looking directly towards you. Furthermore, the supercars allocated will predominantly be convertibles where the roofs will be down for increased ventilation. Where this isn’t possible, or the weather is inclement, windows will be down in all cars to ensure adequate air flow through the cab. All vehicles will be sanitized in between every drive.

While government guidance is that temperature checking is not mandatory, we will be conducting health checks, including temperature readings with our every team members at the beginning of every shift to ensure as best we can that they are fit to work. If staff members notify of contact with or display the symptoms of, Covid-19 – for both their safety & yours, they are not permitted to work and will be directed to follow NHS 111 advice.

Where events have been affected by lockdown, we will reschedule your booking with you free of charge. If the event that you are booked into is running as scheduled, you are still able to reschedule, but the normal fees for changing the date apply. You will also need to ensure that any rescheduling remains within the expiry date of your voucher.

From August 1st 2020, the Government will be pausing shielding and advising the adoption of strict social distancing measures. This means you will be able to attend or book onto events scheduled for after 1st August 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation & should this approach change, then we too will amend our recommendations accordingly.

We have the most generous refund policy in the driving experience industry and where customers meet the eligibility criteria within that policy, then the answer is yes. However, whilst we empathise with customers wanting a refund, where the eligibility criteria is not met and they do not qualify, regretfully we will not be able to issue a refund. Full details of the refund policy are contained within our terms and conditions; available here; www.everymanracing.co.uk/faq

Yes, any pre-booked driver can bring spectators with them to their event. Each venue may differ as to the maximum number of spectators which can accompany drivers so please check the specifics in the details issued to you prior to your event. We advise against bringing anyone over the age of 60, or anyone who classifies as high risk with pre-existing medical history, unless it is necessary. Parents/Guardians must take full responsibility for any children or minors including their adherence to social distancing & other Covid precautions put in place for the safety of all staff & customers and anyone who is currently shielding is only permitted to attend once the restrictions have been eased from the 1st August 2020.
